Experience, Testimony and encouragement
Greetings ladies and Gentlemen my name is Hosea Mobiha Kumoru, and I like many others was one of those who thought that there were no second chances.
All of that changed when I was made aware of AIU- ALANTIC INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY.
Prior to this revelation, my mind was not open. I was closed off and thought learning and education can only be done in the classroom (A physical Teacher and Student situation). It was a very traditional concept of education that I had. And when I withdrew from school and found myself aimless with no direction, no goals, I had no other options but to crush my traditional concept of learning and embrace AIU-distance learning. That was when I opened my mind and allowed myself to change my perspective on learning. And what I have come to conclude is that there is no age limit to learning. Anyone is entitled to learning and learning does not end when you reach a certain age. Learning is part of life, and AIU has made me realize I AM A STUDENT OF LIFE, AIU is the vessel on which I travel on this Journey, taking me to my destination.
Why choose AIU?
Distance Learning- I am a supporter of distance learning because it has allowed me to learn and do classes on my own time and from where I am most comfortable.
AIU’s Virtual Campus had libraries and all necessary features that are required to assist students.
I really enjoyed the flexible schedule of AIU, where you do your classes on your own time when you can. I loved that AIU staff respected that I was a student but I had a day job too, and they are the most understanding people I have come across. I never once felt unwelcomed, I felt as though I was family with AIU staff.
I want to acknowledge my professors, the Tutors and of course everyone who has contributed in this chapter of my life. Special appreciation to my advisor DR Kanbiro and Mr Rene Cordon.
I hope my experience and testimony encourages others to answer the call of destiny and give AIU a try.
