In 2020, I thought of obtaining a foreign degree, and I applied to different universities in Europe and America. Interestingly, I got admission to all the Universities including Atlantic International University (AIU) to pursue Ph.D in Leadership and Strategic Management.
After reviewing the different options available to me and reading through some testimonials of AIU alumni, corroborated by the quality of customer service, support, and follow-up I got from my admission counsellor Mr. Jimoh Joseph, I settled for AIU and embarked on the transformative journey in 2021.
Throughout my period of study, the university faculty demonstrated remarkable commitment to my success. My academic advisors and tutors provided invaluable support and timely feedback, which contributed to keeping my motivation all through the program. Dr. Edward Lambert in particular was very amazing in the course of my program. Thanks to him for every support I got. The vast and quality study materials of the university library, the flexible study opportunity, the collaborative virtual learning environment, and the robust payment platforms all enriched my learning
experience at Atlantic International University.
My research work which centered on “organizational design and workplace conflict” also enriched me immensely and provided opportunity for me to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of organizational design, and how it can be used to proactively manage inevitable workplace conflicts.
Despite my interesting learning experience at AIU, my journey was not without its challenges, ranging from substantial currency devaluation to inability to source for forex for my monthly tuition obligation. These challenges almost truncated my academic journey, but with the generous scholarship support I received from the school and the different payment options provided by the university, I was able to complete the program. Thanks to the finance team and the university management for the immense support.
In conclusion, my doctoral study experience at Atlantic International University was both challenging and rewarding, but the program empowered me with the requisite knowledge and expertise necessary to address leadership challenges in all spheres, and I look forward to applying the learnings in my different endeavors.
