Using Excel for Statistics

In this assignment, I utilized Excel to conduct a regression analysis that effectively analyzes data relationships. By generating independent and dependent variables based on random data, I created a scatter plot to visualize trends. The statistical output indicates a strong correlation (R² = 0.9918) between the variables. The regression results show that as the distance from a specified point increases by 3 feet, the dependent variable decreases by 51%. Key metrics, such as standard error and significance, further emphasize the robustness of the analysis. This work illustrates the power of Excel in statistical analysis, making data interpretation accessible and effective for meaningful conclusions.
